El nuevo monoplaza es la evoluci\u00f3n del CT01 muy similar a \u00e9l y manteniendo el morro de pato, aunque se observa m\u00e1s estilizado y continua siendo propulsado por el motor Lotus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El equipo tiene el objetivo de conseguir su consolidaci\u00f3n en 2013 seg\u00fan dijo Cirilo Abiteboul el director del equipo Caterham: <b>\u00abEste es un a\u00f1o de transici\u00f3n\u00bb.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mark Smith, director t\u00e9cnico de Caterham, confirmo que es un reto la nueva temporada ya que el nuevo CT03 es una evoluci\u00f3n del CT01, pero con cambios significativos: <b>\u00abLa pr\u00f3xima temporada nos present\u00f3 un reto interesante al principio del proceso de dise\u00f1o, ya que es el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de la normativa vigente antes de la introducci\u00f3n de las reglas del nuevo motor en 2014. Con esto en mente, decidimos que CT03 ser\u00eda una evoluci\u00f3n del CT01 m\u00e1s que un redise\u00f1o completo, lo que nos permite enfocar nuestros recursos en el desarrollo de \u00e1reas de paquete del a\u00f1o pasado en que las oportunidades que nos dan el mayor rendimiento\u201d, declar\u00f3. Hemos hecho una serie de cambios significativos en el coche que lleva desde el paquete que nos gan\u00f3 la d\u00e9cima posici\u00f3n en el campeonato de 2012 en Brasil en CT03. El difusor, la tapa del motor y las salidas de refrigeraci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n han visto grandes cambios y hay mejoras m\u00e1s sutiles en otras \u00e1reas del
